Welcome

All: I have been forced to require all users, even casual users to log in due to spam bots continuously attacking this site via the search screen. These bots were consuming nearly all resources for those of you who actually wanted to utilize the site for research purposes. --------- Juchipila was once a large Province, and as late as 1772 consisted of the parishes of Juchipila (including the pueblo of Moyahua), San Juan del Mesquital, Nochistlan, Jalpa, Tabasco, Huejucar, and Villanueva. Many of these parishes were directly located on the Juchipila River, providing a much needed water source. The province of Juchipila had major migrations of individuals from Yahualica, Cuquio, Jalostotitlan, Lagos, San Cristoval Barranca, Teul, Tepechitlan, and Tlaltenago de Sanchez Roman. Many families listed here also branch out into other areas of Northern Mexico.
